RERA

Also called: Real Estate Regulatory Agency

RERA is the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, the regulatory arm of the Dubai Land Department that oversees brokers, developers, escrow and tenancy registration.

It licenses real estate brokers and brokerages, registers projects, and administers systems including Ejari for tenancies and the framework around jointly owned property.

For a buyer the most useful consequence is that brokers carry a registered licence and number that can be checked, and projects carry registration that can be verified.

The figures behind this

Dubai Diligence is an independent property-data service built on official Dubai Land Department records. We are not a brokerage and no developer pays us. This is general information, not legal, financial or tax advice.

Register your interest

Tell us what you are looking for, and we will do the diligence around it.

Registered Dubai Land Department figures for the areas you are watching, sent weekly. An honest read on any property you are weighing, before you talk to whoever is selling it. And if you eventually want to meet someone, an introduction to an agent whose transaction record we can show you.

Everything on this site stays free and open whether you register or not. This is for people who want it pointed at their own shortlist.
