Broker number
Also called: BRN, broker registration number
A broker number is the registration number the Dubai Land Department issues to a licensed real estate broker, against which its records of their activity are held.
Every licensed broker in Dubai has one, and it can be checked. The Land Department also publishes an activity count against each number.
That count is a record of registered activity, not an assessment of anybody's service. It is published as a single figure and is not broken down by type, so a broker working mainly in leasing can show a high count without having sold, and a broker selling a few expensive homes can show a low one.
The figures behind this
Dubai Diligence is an independent property-data service built on official Dubai Land Department records. We are not a brokerage and no developer pays us. This is general information, not legal, financial or tax advice.
