Plot area
Plot area is the size of the land a villa or townhouse sits on, as distinct from the built-up area of the house itself.
Two villas with identical internal space can sit on very different plots, and the plot is often the larger part of the difference in price.
For apartments there is no plot area; the owner holds a share of the land through the jointly owned property structure instead.
