Owners' association
Also called: OA, owners committee
An owners' association is the body of all owners in a jointly owned building or community, responsible for its shared parts and its budget.
It appoints the management company, approves the service charge budget and oversees maintenance of everything outside the individual units.
A well-run association shows up in the condition of a building and in a service charge that is stable and explained. A poorly run one shows up in both as well.
