Musataha

A musataha is a registered right to build on and use land belonging to someone else for a long fixed term, after which the land and usually the buildings revert.

It is a development right rather than a home-buying one, used where a party wants to construct and operate on land they do not own.

Residential buyers rarely encounter it. It matters when assessing who controls a plot behind or beside a project.
