Holiday home licence

Also called: short-term rental, short term licence

A holiday home licence is the permit required to let a Dubai property to guests on a short-term basis rather than on an annual tenancy.

Short-term letting in Dubai is regulated and licensed, with the property registered and the operator permitted. It is not simply a matter of listing a flat online.

Gross returns can be higher than an annual let, but so are costs and vacancy, and the building or community may restrict it regardless of the licence.
